day 7
it is 9:20 on january 7. i am sitting in the living room at our dining room table, taking a break from work, feeling my chest lift as i take a deep breath, and listening to the whirring of the dishwasher. i feel a little sleepy but good and as i take a drink of genmai-cha, i think about how lucky i am.

I love this blog.
I've never had genmai-cha...so I am grateful that I may have a treat in store for myself now (as a die-hard tea drinker). Also loving your polaroids and many different mugs...hope you got in on the swap at the CAC blog!

mmmm, my favorite -- genmai cha. yummm. Liz, I just figured out I have very asymmetrical eyes. Kind of like the way your eyes are. Don't know why I never noticed it before, but I was looking at some self-portraits I took recently and it really stands out. Funny how we can "see" ourselves in a mirror for years and years, and yet, not "see" something that obvious. I love your spontaneous polaroids. This is turning into one of my favorite online check-ins. xoxo
